After contemplating a Breast Augmentation for over 10 years, I decided to do some research and checked out some doctors. I had set up several meetings with potential doctors. One doctor rushed through the consultation as though his time was too valuable to be wasted on me. The other doctor treated me like a number and I would be his 3153rd case which I did not appreciate.

With Dr. Farzaneh, he spent 1 1/2 hours at the initial consultation. He went through the pros and cons of the procedure. He answered all my questions. I was very comfortable with him and knew that he would be the doctor for me.

Finally, the big Friday arrived. I was very nervous and excited at the same time. The nurses had me ready and suddenly found out that I had a mild temperature. Instead of moving forward with the procedure, Dr. Farzaneh suggested that it should be postponed and see how I felt over the weekend. He didn’t want to take any chances with the fever that could lead to other complications. The temperature did go away over the weekend and the procedure was done the following Monday which was also New Year’s Eve.

Dr. Farzaneh called me that afternoon after the surgery and asked how I was doing. He came by the house and checked to make sure I was fine. Over the two weeks period, the doctor made two house calls and saw me ten times for follow-ups. How many doctors do you know would show so much care and dedication to ensure your full recovery?

My result is amazing! I’m very happy and glad I went through with it. Dr. Farzaneh has become my favorite doctor.

I grew up in a family of physicians/surgeons and am an ICU nurse to boot. If you know anything about an ICU nurse, you know that they are meticulous, exacting and control freaks. Ok, most may not admit to the last, but there it is. I am currently a Medical Review Nurse for medical necessity and level of care for a managed care health plan (HMO). I am well versed in standards of practice and medical necessity guidelines. After 2 years of careful consideration, 6 months of research, consultations with a dozen or so cosmetic surgeons, Dr. Farzaneh “made the cut”.

I based my choice on the following (not necessarily in order of importance): He is honest and gave me realistic expectations. In fact, he dissuaded me from the surgery at first. He was just as curious to understand why I felt I needed the procedure. In my opinion, that tells me he is just as concerned with meeting my “goals” as he is with “performing a service”. He looks me in the eye when we talk. His medical training background was impressive enough. Although, he was not Board Certified at the time of my surgery, I felt his training provided him with ample opportunity and experience to be able to perform the decisions and surgical tasks required. I guess, having relatives that are physicians and surgeons, helped me to evaluate how important being “board certified” was to me. The decisive factor for me was the fact that he is a wound specialist at a local Hyperbaric Treatment Clinic. I believed that this background would contribute to the approach and methods he would use during my surgical procedure. I think that Dr. Farzaneh’s experience in wound care and healing would be an advantage in the approach and methods he would make during my surgery. And you know what? I am happy to report that I turned out to be correct. I am more than pleased with the results thus far. I am a month post-op now and the healing is better than the 2 previous surgeries I’ve had– not including my 2 prior C-sections! I noticed that the sutures he placed were different from those of my previous surgeries. I asked him why and he explained that he thought it would minimize post op scarring and keloid formation. He even factored in my prior history of eczema and multiple allergies. If I thought I was anally retentive, the man is “compacted”! And I mean that in the nicest possible way, ok? He was very mindful of my post op progress so much so that he even saw me on Christmas Day. We are still in the post op period and he continues to monitor my progress on a weekly basis. Professionally, I don’t see too many physicians who would provide the same kind of attention as he does. Personally, I am kinda glad he does.
He understands the fact that this is an elective procedure for most of us and that it is a costly procedure as well. The price quote I got was on the high average side, but the prescriptions, post op garments were all very competitively priced. The meds cost more at Kaiser pharmacy as a matter of fact. And we have pretty good coverage plan at Kaiser. He was just as concerned about the financial cost as I was.

One of my cousins is a cosmetic surgeon and when he found out that I went to Dr Farzaneh he asked me why. I said because Dr. Farzaneh answers his calls all the time. He will always pause an office visit to assure his patients are safe and secure. And if there is anything I want to be when I have an elective procedure, it is to be safe AND secure.

I am so thankful to Dr Farzaneh and his staff. He has a much keener perception of his patients than I think he wants us to know. I may be a little uncomfortable with that, but I know I am in “better shape” now because of it as well.

I can see why he Dr Farzaneh is so frequently voted as “Most Compassionate Physician”. He gets my vote too.

I went to a few consultatons for a breast lift and implants before i met Dr. Farzaneh. After the consultation with him, i left his office knowing he was the Dr. for me and the only one i wanted to do my procedures. I am so happy with the choice that i made. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHE DOCTOR AS COMPASSIONATE AND HONEST AS DR. FARZANEH!
Before seeing Dr. Farzaneh I had gone to 2 other doctors that could of cared less about me as a person. They took a whole 10 mins to look at me and then walked out and I was then being up sold on procedures I didn’t even consider before walking in.. which made me feel horrible. By the time I got to Doctor Farzaneh I had pretty much made up my mind that I couldn’t trust a plastic surgeon BUT THAT CHANGED in the first 5 mins talking with Dr. Farzaneh. He spent an hour talking with me before even looking at my body. He took my lifestyle, things I was self-conscious about, age and risks all into consideration when consulting me on what procedures I would be a good candidate for. He initially suggested I diet and exercise for 6 weeks and predicted I may not need lipo… YES.. he sat there and actually began to talk me out of it. But after he realized how adamant I was about being bikini ready for the summer he advised that I do the area that bothered me the most instead of multiple areas. I felt as if I was talking to a friend who knew me and really cared about my well-being. Not only does he have great bedside manner he does fantastic work. I am very happy with my results!! I ended up going back for another procedure and that went just as well as the first. The care doesn’t stop at the door after the procedure! Plastic surgery is an elective surgery and can be scary but when you are in the hands of a compassionate doctor it makes all the difference in the world!! I chose Dr. Farzaneh as my PS because he cared. He took his time w/me and made sure I understood what I was about to do to myself; no sugar-coating! My case required extra considerations because I’m a Gastric Bypass patient. As fellow GB patients know, our nutritional needs are much more complicated than an average patient. Two weeks post-op he still reminds me to take precaution. This,as well as his genuine concern for my well-being, make me feel as I’m receiving special care, but he treats all his all his patients this way. He’s up front about taking patients calls during office visits, which I appreciated because it shows genuine concern for his patients, and is comforting knowing that hes just a call away. Not being a fan of cosmetic surgery, we were faced with a challenge when we came to the undeniable realization that my 9-year-old daughter needed to have her ears “pinned” (otoplasty). The whole concept was completely new to us and we had no idea where to begin. When we met Dr. Farzaneh, he was courteous, respectful, completely forthcoming and, above all, he remembered that my daughter was the patient. It is challenging these days to find a pediatrician that isn’t compelled to talk to the parents more than the child, but that was never an issue here. He also encouraged her to talk about what she wanted the results to be, how she felt about her current appearance, and told her repeatedly that this surgery is entirely her decision. She loved his candor and his gentle manner was both refreshing and comforting, building her trust as she prepared for her transformation.On to the surgery: The day of the surgery, the surgical staff was attentive and very child-friendly. I was greatly surprised and pleased because this is not typically a child-focused area, so finding a team that could so comfortably interact with her and gain and maintain her trust was critical. She never had a worry and was very eager to see the outcome – a surprising approach for one so young. Dr. Farzaneh advised us to follow the post-operative care instructions closely so that her ears would fully heal exactly as they were intended.The results: BEAUTIFUL! If you have seen the movie An American Tale, Fievel’s ears are pretty similar to my daughter’s “before.” The “after” result can only be described as “perfectly” “natural.” Her ears aren’t plastic-y perfect, but look exactly as they would have if nature hadn’t tweaked them out. She’s so proud of them and has worn her hair up or back every day since!The care: Always aware of her age, both Dr. Farzaneh and we were concerned about how well she would follow directions to ensure a complete heal with no complications. HIGHLY SATISFIED!

I am very happy so far with the results of the Dermolipectomy completely only 2 weeks ago. Prior surgery prevented my from having a full tummy tuck so Dr. Farzaneh went over other options for me. He was very detailed explaining exactly what he was going to do and the predicted outcome. Surgery went well and was off pain meds in 2 days. AGE: 18 I was very nervous when I first went in hearing everything my friends had been telling me about getting a breast augmentation. Dr. Farzaneh was more then helpful answering all my questions and relieving all my concerns. not to mention my mom was a little iffy about me getting this procedure. we both did our research on the size i wanted by filling a panty hose with rice and figuring out how many ounces i want (as Dr. Farzaneh told me to do) and it worked perfectly it allowed me to choose the perfect size and be more then 150% sure of the size i wanted so i was more then thrilled with the outcome! i came out of the surgery in no pain i wound up taking tylenol the next day instead of heavy pain meds. over all i would HIGHLY recommend anyone interested in getting any type of surgery should keep Dr. Farzaneh in mind.

I am extremely pleased with the abdominoplasty that Dr. Farzaneh performed on me in August 2010. As a registered nurse I am probably a lot more particular than the average person in selecting a surgeon. After witnessing for myself the outcome of some of his tummy tuck patients I was completely sold on having him perform my surgery. Not only did he give me a flat tummy and cute new belly button, but he truly cared about me from the time I had my first consultation to months after my surgery. Would I recommend Dr. Farzaneh? Absolutely. I went to 3 doctors before selecting him. He is honest and thorough. He explained what to expect after my tummy tuck. I had horrible results with Lipolite from another doctor. I was nervous and asked a ton of questions. Well, I am finishing up my post op care, almost done. The results exceed my expecations and there is still a little swelling! I can’t imagine anyone upset with his office staff, the procedure, his incredible bedside manner or results. Dr. Farzaneh was the first plastic surgeon out of many that I visited that advised I should lose wait before my procedure, the right way he insisted. Babak Farzaneh, M.D. is an absolutely wonderful Cosmetic Surgon. I was very apprehensive at my first visit. He made me feel very comfortable and confident in him, and treated me with a great deal of respect. I just say enough positive things regarding my experience with Dr.Farzaneh.He is the type of person that you will immediately feel comfortable with and no question is a stupid question. He will go over all your questions and if you are still not sure he provides you with his cell number to contact him whenever you like. He is totally interested in what his patient wants and he gives you his honest opinion. I got a breast lift, augmentation and mini tummy tuck and I love my results. Scarring has always been an issue since I am of dark complictiion. I always say do your research when doing any type of work to your body.  I have had a few cosmetic procedures done and was disappointed to hear that my last cosmetic surgeon retired.  
You are your own worst critic and you need an honest doctor.  One that will tell you how to improve your look without going over board with the cosmetic procedures.  Dr. Farzaneh prides himself on his work and he treats his patients like gold. He is not happy unless you are happy and that is the kind of doctor you want.  
You will definitely feel like you are his number one patient upon your first consultation.  You will understand what I’m talking about when you meet him. 
So far, I have done minimally invasive procedures at this office but plan on getting some more work done within the year if I can’t get my body where it needs to be.

I pride myself for being an overachiever when it comes to researching any decisions that I make. I went to have a consultaion with Dr. Farzaneh and went with the intention I was going to interview many more doctors for my procedure. There was not a doubt in my mind that I was going to go with Dr. Farzaneh after our initial meeting. He makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. He goes above and beyond what a doctor should do. From actually coming to my house the night after the surgery to check on me and to the numerous phone calls.

This office does not only cosmetic surgical procedures but facials, peels, etc.  I originally contacted the office in mid March for a facial.  When arriving there was a mix up on the appt time.  Another time the appt was cancelled.  When Dr. Farzaneh heard of this, he personally called me to apologize.  I made a new appt and came in to see him for a consultation and subsequent Botox injections.  Dr. Farzaneh is by far the most professional, caring physician I have met, and having worked in the medical field for 30 years, I’ve met quite a few.  He took the time not only needed, but beyond, to talk to me and make sure I knew what I wanted and all the subsequent reactions and results that would occur with my choice.  When I came in for my small procedure, he was talking to a patient just leaving.  He was making sure that she had his cell phone # so that she could reach him at any time if she had a problem or even a question.  I really appreciate this thoughtfulness.  Many times when you have something done, something comes up, maybe small, but still important to you and you have no way to reach the doctor or even the office, if it’s after-hours.  With Dr. Farzaneh, there is no fear of this, as he makes sure he’s available at all times.  I will definitely see him again.

If your looking to do any type of plastic surgery and the right Dr….. Well, you found him! Dr. Farzaneh listened to my questions, concerns and answered them truthfully. Cause I was not an easy case. I felt very comfortable with him. After my surgery Dr. Farzaneh gave me great attention in making sure I was feeling well and doing what I needed to do for post-op surgery. Not being a fan of cosmetic surgery, we were faced with a challenge when we came to the undeniable realization that my 9-year-old daughter needed to have her ears “pinned” (otoplasty). The whole concept was completely new to us and we had no idea where to begin. When we met Dr. Farzaneh, he was courteous, respectful, completely forthcoming and, above all, he remembered that my daughter was the patient. It is challenging these days to find a pediatrician that isn’t compelled to talk to the parents more than the child, but that was never an issue here. He also encouraged her to talk about what she wanted the results to be, how she felt about her current appearance, and told her repeatedly that this surgery is entirely her decision. She loved his candor and his gentle manner was both refreshing and comforting, building her trust as she prepared for her transformation.
On to the surgery: The day of the surgery, the surgical staff was attentive and very child-friendly. I was greatly surprised and pleased because this is not typically a child-focused area, so finding a team that could so comfortably interact with her and gain and maintain her trust was critical. She never had a worry and was very eager to see the outcome – a surprising approach for one so young. Dr. Farzaneh advised us to follow the post-operative care instructions closely so that her ears would fully heal exactly as they were intended.
The results: BEAUTIFUL! If you have seen the movie An American Tale, Fievel’s ears are pretty similar to my daughter’s “before.” The “after” result can only be described as “perfectly” “natural.” Her ears aren’t plastic-y perfect, but look exactly as they would have if nature hadn’t tweaked them out. She’s so proud of them and has worn her hair up or back every day since!
The care: Always aware of her age, both Dr. Farzaneh and we were concerned about how well she would follow directions to ensure a complete heal with no complications. His attention to the details, the perfection of his procedure, his bedside and phone manner, and even house calls to check in made this an absolutely perfect medical experience.Thank you, Dr. Farzaneh! You have given our daughter a new perspective on herself and a tremendous boost to her self-esteem.

Is an exceptional doctor he provides the most pleasant atmosphere. He answer all the doubts and concerns I had. I had my surgery with him on 1/12/11 he was so attentive in my well being, he would take time from his busy schedule and call me to make sure I was feeling good and not having any post surgery  problems. The one thing that stands out about Dr. Farzaneh is that he genuinely cares about his patients.  My procedure may have been minor, but he gave me his full attention.  He explained the procedure, his methed, and his concerns to achieve the best results.  After meeting him I knew he was the doctor for me.  I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Farzaneh was just one of the doctors I consulted with. When I met Dr. Farzaneh, I knew I met my doctor. If you are looking for a great Dr., this is the one. He is not your conventional doctor. His after care is what sets him apart from other doctors. He takes the time to call YOU and ask if you have any questions. If you do, he might even come by YOUR home to assure you that everything is alright.. and alleviate your worry or stress.  Who does that?!?
He is also a perfectionist for himself and for your procedure so you will be so happy with your end result!
