Ask My Patients Part 2: Inland Empire Tummy Tuck Patient
A woman interested in Tummy Tuck in Corona sent the following question to be answered by one of our patients:
Q. I’m not really sure if I need a tummy tuck, but I think I do. I’ve dieted and exercised and I’ve just reached a point where my stomach is not where I want it to be. What questions do I need to ask, and why did you go with Dr. Farzaneh for your procedure?
A. I learned a lot about the tummy tuck procedure during my visit with Dr. Farzaneh. I do recommend the consultation, by the way — it’s complimentary and a great way to not only get questions answered, but he also helps you discover the questions you should be asking as well.
So like I said, I learned a lot about abdominoplasty. First of all, it’s not a “short cut” to being healthy; it’s actually a way to recreate the waist after it has been stretched and the muscles can no longer tighten. In many cases, especially after childbirth, it’s the ONLY way to get that shape back. The muscles are just so stretched out and separated, and that was me to a T. I don’t think that’s necessarily the only people who get a tummy tuck — that’s more a question to ask the doctor specifically about yourself — but I think I was somewhat the typical candidate.
So that’s just about the procedure; what’s probably more important in this instance is my experience. Dr. Farzaneh made me feel very comfortable and at ease, and I felt he really went above and beyond in caring for me. I could sense it from the very beginning, from the first consultation.
He even came by my house the night after the surgery to check on me, and he was always in touch on the phone. He also answered any time I called, unless he was in surgery (in which case he would call me as soon as he was out). I can’t say enough about the whole experience, and the result has been FANTASTIC. Part of me feels like it came out even better because of the extra help and attention he provided — there was so little stress, and I felt very well cared-for.
So anyway, obviously I recommend Dr. Farzaneh for a tummy tuck. Corona isn’t far away, it’s an easy trip to make for the consult.
Side note: I waited TWELVE YEARS to have a tummy tuck. Don’t wait that long. My only regret is not doing it sooner, but I’m very happy with the fact that I have done it now!
Sincerely, Tummy Tuck Patient in Anaheim
