What is Latisse?

How to Apply Latisse

For Latisse to be as effective as possible, it’s best to incorporate it into your nightly routine so you don’t miss an application. For example, each evening after you wash your face, brush your teeth and remove your contacts and makeup, apply your Latisse.

Only use Latisse once a night, applying the medicine with the sterile, disposable applicator to the upper eyelids only. If you miss an application, don’t apply more Latisse to make up for it the next day – just get back on your normal schedule moving forward.

What results can you expect from Latisse?

Latisse grows your eyelashes gradually and over time. At week four, you’ll begin to notice that your lashes are longer than usual. At week eight, they should appear darker and more voluminous. By week sixteen, your full results will be apparent. If you stop using Latisse at any time, your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance within several weeks.

Is Latisse safe?

When used correctly, yes, Latisse is a safe and effective way to grow longer, darker and fuller lashes. The most common side effects reported are very minimal, and include an itching sensation or redness near the eyes. Less common side effects are darkening of the skin, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes or redness of the eyelids.
