AccuTite
As a natural part of the aging process, loose skin, wrinkles, and small fat pockets appear in small areas of the face and body, such as the face, upper arms, knees, and other areas where fat tends to build up and skin tends to sag.
To reverse these effects without a surgical procedure, we offer patients AccuTite. AccuTite is a minimally-invasive procedure that addresses lax skin and other changes that appear with age.
What is AccuTite?
AccuTite is a unique, precision device that is designed to address smaller, more delicate areas of the body. AccuTite uses advanced technology to liquefy and remove fat cells while strengthening and tightening the skin.
Patients love AccuTite because it achieves tighter, smoother skin and more sculpted contours on the face and body, but it requires no downtime, only a short period of recovery, and leaves no scars.
How does AccuTite work?
AccuTite is a groundbreaking device that uses RFAL technology (Radiofrequency-Assisted Lipolysis). Radiofrequency waves are emitted into the tissues, heating and liquifying fat cells while, at the same time, dramatically triggering the production of collagen and elastin.
Once the fat cells are liquified, they are gently removed with a needle. This step is not always needed, but in some cases, it is performed. The fat removal procedure results in a more defined, sculpted appearance. The boost in collagen and elastin, which are the building blocks of healthy, youthful, and firm skin, causes the skin to restructure itself at the cellular level. As your skin rebuilds itself from the inside out, you will be able to enjoy firmer contours and a more radiant, youthful appearance.
Which areas can be treated with AccuTite?
AccuTite is a versatile treatment that treats a wide range of areas, particularly smaller places on the body where patients would like to get rid of stubborn fat or sagging skin. Treatment areas include the following:
- Around the brows
- Around the eyes
- Under-eye bags
- Nasolabial folds
- Uneven jawline
- Neck
- Hands
- Upper arms
- Knees
- Bra roll
- Ankles
What happens during an AccuTite treatment?
We will start by applying a local anesthetic to ensure you are comfortable during the AccuTite treatment. Once the anesthetic takes effect, we will begin the procedure.
We will make a tiny incision in the skin at the treatment area, and we will apply the probe of the small AccuTite handpiece through this incision. The AccuTite device will emit radiofrequency (RF) energy below the skin from this probe. At the same time, a sensor measures the heat levels to ensure that the temperature stays in a safe range while it liquefies fat cells. The liquified fat cells are suctioned out, leaving the area defined, sculpted, and youthful-looking.
Aside from liquifying fat tissues, the RF energy also heats the underlying tissues to stimulate collagen production. The skin rebuilds and restructures itself from within, ultimately resulting in more radiant, youthful-looking skin.
What to expect during the AccuTite recovery period
There is no significant downtime after an AccuTite treatment. However, there will be a few days to a week of swelling and bruising, depending on the number of areas treated. If you had several areas treated, you might be given a compression garment to wear to help minimize swelling and improve the healing process.
You will need to take it easy for 3-4 days as your bruising and swelling fade. At this point, most patients can comfortably return back to work or their usual activities. You will be able to return to light exercise after about a week.
Results after AccuTite
You will be able to notice your initial AccuTite results within a few days as the swelling fades. These early results will continue to improve over time as the skin renews due to the boost in collagen and elastin AccuTite triggers. In the following weeks and months, your skin will remodel itself and become firmer, more radiant, and more youthful-looking.
You will be able to enjoy your more sculpted, slimmer, tighter look for up to five years.
