How does InstaLift differ from traditional thread lift procedures?
In the past, the barbs on the sutures used in thread lift procedures could pull on the skin producing results that appeared unnatural. These sutures could leave tracks in the skin which gave facial movement a strained quality.
A Silhouette InstaLift is different. The sutures are composed of polyglycolic acid and L-poly lactic acid, natural compounds, which are gradually absorbed into the skin over time. Both compounds are sugars commonly used in skin rejuvenation and produce exceptionally natural-looking results.
What can I expect during InstaLift?
The InstaLift procedure is performed in the luxurious facilities of TrueCare Cosmetic Surgery & Med Spa™, where you will be completely at ease during your procedure. Dr. Farzaneh will first create a map of the treatment area, marking points of insertion and exit for two to four sutures in each cheek and along the contours of the jawline. Once the map has been created, he will numb the area to be treated so the procedure can be completed with minimal discomfort.
The sutures are carefully placed and then gently massaged into place, securing them into the desired location. These gentle sweeps of massage provide further lifting action for an immediate facial lift. The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
What is the recovery from InstaLift like?
You may experience mild soreness or swelling following your Inland Empire InstaLift procedure which will subside within a few days. There may be a mild indentation at the place where the cones have secured into place. This is temporary and should resolve within a few days. A diet of soft foods is recommended in the week following InstaLift, as vigorous chewing can cause the InstaLift sutures to be displaced. Chewing gum and facial massage should also be avoided for one week. You may apply makeup 24 hours following your procedure.
When will I see results from InstaLift?
Your desire for instant gratification will be met the immediate effect. The lifting results will continue to improve over the course of the next three to six months as the suture’s unique cones stimulate your body’s production of collagen and elastin. In these months you will notice an increase in the supple, firm quality of your skin, for a noticeably more youthful look.
Are the InstaLift results long-lasting?
Like all procedures, the duration of the benefits from InstaLift vary from patient to patient. You will continue to see improvement in the quality and placement of the facial skin for at least six months; sometimes even longer. Your InstaLift results can last as long as twelve to eighteen months.
Who is a candidate for InstaLift?

Men and women who are extremely thin or who have very thin skin without much subdermal fat may not be good candidates for InstaLift, as the inconspicuous placement of sutures may be more challenging.
