I’m four months out and every day I feel better for having gone through with these procedures, breast augmentation and tummy tuck — and every day I’m thankful for having found Dr. Farzaneh.

This was truly a long journey.  Getting to this point was not easy, it almost seems unreal, but throughout it Dr. Farzaneh was that beacon of light, that one individual that provided us hope.

The first challenge came the night before my scheduled surgery date when I caught a bad bug.  Dr. Farzaneh thought it would be best to postpone, and I was devastated.  Dr. Farzaneh comforted and reassured us that waiting was best for my health, and that my health was above all.

I had to postpone for a few months until our next scheduled vacation time, but in the meantime I was diagnosed with cervical cancer.  During this time, Dr. Farzaneh became a part of our family.

He was with us every step of the way, after two surgeries and treatment at City of Hope.  I was on the road to recovery, with my belief in the Lord above and the good doctor that He had sent to help me along.

After I was declared cancer-free and had gone through so much, I was more determined than ever to go through with it, I wanted and needed to go through with it because I needed to feel that I had won.

That’s when Dr. Farzaneh really kicked it into high gear, his constant smile and reassurance that it’s all going to be all right… this was a sign that he knew I would truly be happy with the results of his work.

The surgery went fine and when I went home that evening, Dr. Farzaneh was in constant contact with my husband, especially when at 9 PM my bladder had not yet emptied.  Dr. Farzaneh arrived at our house and decided it better to err on the side of caution and accompanied us to the ER.

He had called ahead and we were immediately taken in — the nurses commented that they had never seen patients come in with their own doctor!

After a catheter, which immediately relieved me, off we went home again.  Throughout that weekend, Dr. Farzaneh paid our house a visit to check on me, reassuring my husband and playing Monsters and Aliens with my 3 year-old.

Well, like I said, it was a long journey.

Oh, by the way — the results are AMAZING.  My breast augmentation included a crescent lift, which is great because the scar is not noticeable.  With the tummy tuck, along with my breast augmentation I now look and feel sexier than ever, and I’m excited to try on new clothes. My husband is excited by the opposite — taking them off!
